After winning the Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year – Marks & Spencer Food Portraiture category last year, we were excited to see what this year would hold. A second year in the finals would be a real achievement.
The Pink Lady Food Photographer of the Year competition showcases the best of the world’s food photography. The bar is set higher each year, with compositions showcasing a mix of creativity, technical ability and a meticulous eye for detail.
This year the awards received more than 40,000 entries from 60 different countries. We were delighted to be shortlisted for the finals and leave with a ‘highly commended’.
Combining our passions for good food and photography, this year’s success came from a simple yet rich combination of colours and texture. After all, simple goodness is what Marks & Spencer’s food is all about.
