Working closely with chefs and alongside a team of food stylists and art directors, we create imagery for some of the country’s leading names in food, from websites to packaging, social media and editorial. Based in the heart of Manchester’s Cotton District, our 4,000 sq ft studio is only minutes away from the shops and the famous Manchester markets where you can source the freshest quality ingredients to use throughout your food photography. With a large multi-station kitchen, refrigerated storage, and a large selection of props, our fully equipped studio is one of the best in Manchester. Along with ample onsite parking our location is both convenient and spacious. For off-site shoots, we can mobilise our team to any eatery throughout the UK. From bustling city centres to tranquil glens, the versatility of our business gives us the freedom and flexibility to shoot anywhere within your own restaurant, café bar or pop-up bistro.

Lead by Darren Hickson, the skill and knowledge of the STM photographers is supported by a talented team of set builders, post-production technicians and creative retouchers. Together their knowledge and experience of the food, print and reproduction ensures our photography doesn’t just sell, but inspires with a compelling story and memorable message.
